California Optimization Bond and Napa wildfire resilience
Following completion of Napa Phase 1, we welcome conversations with organisations interested in supporting or participating in a focused Phase 2 demonstration or helping advance the wider California Optimization Bond approach.
This includes public agencies, local delivery partners, insurers, utilities, water managers, philanthropic foundations, investors and organisations with relevant expertise or evidence.
Participation can be tailored to a specific decision, practical opportunity or funding question. It does not imply a commitment to future investment.
Napa-scale and statewide development can progress independently, while benefiting from shared evidence and experience.

The Darwin Fund welcomes discussions with project leaders, communities, public agencies, conservation organisations, development institutions, philanthropy and investors working on high-integrity nature and resilience opportunities.
Our interests span forests, oceans, watersheds, biodiversity, nature-based economic development and the resilience of communities and economies.
We are particularly interested in opportunities where stronger evidence, partnerships and appropriate funding could unlock durable outcomes.
